My TPACK Journey

After creating my eBook, I learned that Sliderocket is very similar to the Power point program. I also was able to expand my previous technological skills, and learn how to do things that I have never done before. This included resizing pictures, adding in videos, and publishing my work. I became extremely comfortable with the website and I will definately incorporate Sliderocket in my future classroom. This activity is a good learning tool for students because it can demonstrate their understanding of using a program that they may not have been exposed to before. In addition, it will allow me to see a final product based on directions that are provided to students. In order to assist my students in creating their own eBook, I would use similar strategies that were used in this technology class. For example, I will give them a handout with directions, and provide students with a checklist in order for them to ensure that they have everything that they need in their eBook.
